Ouch... I'm dying from all the body pain from the 2 hour badminton session with my friends... Haha! But it was really really fun!!!

I had a sushi making session at 8pm today at my own kitchen mwahaha! Crazy right? But I also dunno why, today i just worked with leftover rice, but tml I'll work with more ingredients haha... Make already no one eat so now its in my fridge, maybe my breakfast tml!
Dun ask me why, I'm like totally crazy^^ I also went to get my new presciption for glasses, and I paid $230 for the lenses alone! Cause my degrees are like really high, (800++, 900++) and the lenses are like nearly 1cm thick!!!

Today I didn't have school, but I still went cause I can't study at home. So I was in school, expecting not a lot of people. However, the library was quite full when I reached there. But I was still able to find a seat so everything was fine.
I was just preparing for my socio test (wad a good girl i am~~~) when I came across this 'cute' uncle. I could have sworn our lib is only for members, so wad is an old ah peh doing inisde the lib? He was doing anything but was taking up a space in the library, and he was SLEEPING! There people were frantically finding seats to study (becoz it was the examination period), and there's an ah peh sleeping there?
Okay nvm, forget abt the ah peh. So I was studying all the way until 11.30 round there, then I went up to megabites to book seats for me and Alison. I think all the three years students are back from the hols so our school cafeteria had been really packed recently, I really miss the good old days when you can just go there and CHOOSE seats! But anyway, Elmo who had no one to eat lunch with him cause his buddy pon lecture^^, came to join us for lunch. Because I left a pack of tissue on the table, so i asked him to look for the table with the pack of purple tissue on it. But I saw him went two rounds and couldn't find seats. End up it wa because our efficient cleaners cleaned it right off my table... -.-
Anyway, when me and Alison went back to our table, we realised that some 'good' souls have convinently taken our seats. I've got nothing to say... HAiz. Enough about that, so after lunch, the three of us went up to Clementi CityVibe's arcade and I'VE GOT HOOKED ONTO MARIO RACING!!! OMG THAT GAME IS SUPER DUPER DUPER DUPEY UPPEY FUN^^^^^ELMO!!!! LET'S GO PLAY AGAIN SOMEDAY OKAY??!!!

Today as I was on the bus 157 back, I went passed this stretch of road that was covered by forests. On the other side of the road were tons of HDB flats. The contrast between rural and urban struck me, and I suddenly felt like taking this scene down. However, before i could get my phone out, the bus already went passed.
So I was thinking, maybe after my vision problem is solved, and by God's Grace if I don't go blind(I hope not), I'll come back here to take the photo!

Hi Guys!
It has been a long time since i last updated sia!t, my eyes have been giving me loads of problems, Everthing seems so bright to me and it really hurts my eyes to use the computer...
Anyway i do log on for abt 15 mins each day so if you have something o tell me, just leave me an offline msg on live and i will see it! Now for a quick update of my life^^
I was on the Nokia 157 on wednesday (or tues cant rmb) and IT WAS ALL CANDY PINK AND PURPLE!!! The whole bus was passenger inefficent but comfort 100%%!!! I TOTALY ROCK WITH THE BUS MAN! IT WAS SO NICE AND SWEEET I DIN REALLY WANT TO GET OFF!!! I WAS LIKE SUPER HIGH IN IT!!! ARH!!! I WANT TO SE THE BUS AGAIN!!!!
Ystd I went out for the weekly OG lunch, but this time, Alison came with us!!!! We had lunch at Kopitiam near Clementi MRT then after that went downtown to catch a movie. Initial plan was to catch Meatballs, but then oonli got 3D one so we watched Surrogates instead! We went to The Cathay Gallery, the one where I watched HP with Alison, while waiting for the show to start, the bulk of us went up to the arcade and started playing the jia wa wa machine! HAha! IT WAS SO EXCITING MAN!
Anywae, Econs test is coming up and i totally dunno wad the *** is gpoing on so i'm so escared i'm going to fail econs!!!! BUt I managed to pass my assignment worz! HAHA! I've passed my SOCIO test as well so its still fine^^ GOT AN A FOR MY MATHS TEST! Ain't I a genius???

Hey peeps... Lately I've ben offline most of the time thanks to my terrible vision problem that makes it hard for me to focus on anything... Already went for a vison test, seems like that was not the problem... So I also dunno what to do liao.
Anyway, yesterday was my granny birthday and we had steamboat for dinner! Just to share some photos...

I was just watching that show the other day and I was thinking... ThatVan Helsing guy looks REALLY familar, but I couldn't rmb who he was... So I just continued on the following weeks wondering, but not bothering to go find out.
But just now, when I just came out from the bath and was in my room, I was staring at my X-Men movie poster, and I suddenly found Wolverine very familar... But I couldn't rmb why too... So since my com was on, I just googled him, and guessed wad? he's Hugh Jackman, the same guy that played Van Helsing! My god... I felt like an idiot... And i wiki him, and found out that he was voted to be one of the sexiest stars on planet together with Alan Rickman, and I totally agree!

As an extra note, I love him even more when Alan Rickman was depicting him...
He's really a great actor as he manage to portray Snape as some more even more interesting in the movie.
His scene though short, are always captivating...
Alan Rickman has a charm when depicting Severus Snape that makes it almost impossible to move your eyes away when he comes onto the screen...
His every movement gives out elegance, true to his name as the Half Blood Prince...
Alan Rickman did a great job with all the expression...
Even a cold expression that Snape always wears on his face, there's a lot of emotions going on in his black eyes...
His voice is eerily soothing...

Corpse Bride
Wonderful storyline, nice clash of colours and out of the world imagination put to work.
I love the songs, I love the bride (I believe she was named Emily), the groom Victor, the spiders in the underworld and the maggot in Emily's eyes.
The songs are catchy and meaningful, just like the Omppa Lumpas' songs in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The way how Victor went from being afraid of Emily to falling in love. The way he went from wanting to escape from the Land Below back to the Land of the Living, to how he could bear to leave.
The way the spiders put life across in the song "Tears to Shed" when Emily was heart-broken that Victor had lied to her. "Everybody knows that's just a temporary state, which is cured very quickly when we met our fate!" the spider sung when Emily said that she couldn't compare to Victoria who "still breathes there".
I especially loved that part where Emily sacrificed herself so that the man that she loves, Victor, could be with a girl "worthy" of him, Victoria.
There's only two things I didn't like in the movie
Victoria, and the fact that Emily turned into hundred of butterflies after she sacrificed herself for Victor...
Eww... I almost screamed out in fear when the hundred of butterflies appeared on the movie screen, looking all too ready to pop out of the screen all thanks to 3D technology...
Hotel Rwanda
This is a movie based on the true account of one of the most horrifically ugly events in recent history, when the Hutu extremists of Rwanda initiated a terrifying campaign of genocide, massacring hundreds of thousands of minority Tutsis (who had been given power by the departed Belgian colonists), while the rest of the world looked on and did nothing.
The truth factor was what make this movie really attractive for me. The touching effect of the idea that the main character Paul was able to display such courage in the face of adversity just multiply with the fact that this was an true account of a great man whose couragous acts saved many others.
When the European guests and staff were all flown away from Rwanda, all that were left was just Paul Rusesabagina and a couple of the local staff.
Not only was he able to think fast on his feet to think of ways to save all the lives that lies in the very hotel that he lives in, he did not give up hope when people whom he trusted to help them disappointed him time and again. The local police that Paul always worked with no longer wants to be involved in helping to save the many refugees that the hotel was putting up. The rebels threatened to enter the hotel at any minute, everyone was scared out of their wits.
The UN did nothing to help but just took care of their own Euporean brothers and sisters, leaving behind the helpless refugees in a dangerous situation. With the backing of the United Nations gone, Paul and his many refugees found themselves to be danger constantly. Paul was only left with a mind and no military backing to work with. In the movie, he made used of human sympathy to try to get people in helping them. He requested individuals in the hotel whom had contacts with influential westerners to call them up.
As quoted from his lines, "Call them up, say your goodbyes to them. And when you say goodbye to them, make sure that you make it sounds like you are reaching out through the phones to hold their hands. Make them feel that if they let go of that hand, we will die. We will SHAME them into helping us." The tatic worked and soon, help arrived from the United Nation.
Overall, this is one of the few shows that can get me crying almost through half of the show. And if you had watched this movie before, personally, I feel that the most impact-ful part of the show was when Paul and his staff were driving in a foggy area. The ride suddenly turned very bumpy, and Paul said, "Oh my, you have driven off the road!" HIs companian replied that, "I'm very sure I'm still in the road!" And Paul frantically answered, "Stop the car! You are going to drive us into the river!" But when he got out of the car to investigate, he came to realised that they were indeed still on the road. HOwever, the road was now littered with the bodies of the murdered Tutsis. They were actually driving over the bodies, that was what made the ride very bumpy. The whole impact of the scene was terrific.
