我喜欢他爽朗的笑声,
常让我在寂寞时想起也会会心一笑,
孤独也会随之而去.
可是,
今天我却选择了孤单.
因为我不想看到他们在一起.
不是嫉妒, 而是他对我是否跟着一副漠不关心的样子令我难一释怀.
一路上我反复地听着Tank的全世界都停电和罗志祥的爱转角...
投入在歌词里... 一个是我现在的心情... 一个说的是我想对他说的话...
或许会有人笑我活该, 放弃了那个爱我的他...
但是我没有后悔.
因为霸占着一个他爱我比我爱他多的人, 对双方都不公平.
况且...
与其无味地被爱着,
我宁可选择现在这暗恋甜蜜的痛楚...
过去的五个月, 我学会了很多...
五个月的时间, 有两个人走进了我的世界.
一个虽然伤我伤的很深,
但是痛却散得很快...
第二个则是慢慢地...
慢慢地走了进来.
连我自己刚开始时都没有发现...
当发现时...
已经好喜欢, 好喜欢了...
至少...
这两个人真的让我成长了许多...
一个将会是一辈子回忆...
而另一个或许还言之过早吧?

Someone in my office has been quarantined for the now 'hot' H1N1 virus. Apparently her sister had caught it and I'm really surprised that the rest of us weren't quarantined as well^^ Can't imagine how the company is going to run if the entire group of us gets quarantined... Mwahaa... Most likely have to divert calls work from home^^
Anyway... My supervisor was super 'cute' that day. I was telling him how I couldn't call a customer back because the number was like silence all the way when i dialed. There was no engaged tone no connection tone nothing! And he was like:
Him: You may want to do a check on it...
I: Oh, and find the right number is it?
Him: No... I mean, the number may be right...
I: No lah, I call a lot of times already...
Him: I'm saying that maybe it's just that the order is taken down incorrectly...
Urm...
Hello?
Isn't that...
An invalid number?
What's the bloody difference? 0_o
Anyway... That wasn't the only cute thing that happened. His short forms are also like...0_o. And the worse thing is that he expects me to understand it. Like he sms-ed me a short form the other day that was "rptg". The first thing that came to my mind was "Role Playing Game". End up it was "reporting". My goodness... Is it that I'm losing contact with this modern world, or is he out of contact?
Anyway, I was just thinking the other day. Why are there racism in the world? Why can't people just live in peace with each other? Isn't it nice if we dun have to lock our door regardless if we are n the house or not? Wouldn't it be nice if you just opened the door one day and your neighbour comes up to you with maybe fresh pancakes for you breakfast or flowers for your vases?
Apparent;y if you do that nowadays, they would probably think that the pancakes are poisoned or going to expire soon. Sigh... Just where has human trust gone? Its like in Africa, those people living in tribes dun even know what does a lock looks like. They care and love and trust each other just because they are born in the same village.
Well... In my opinion, all of us are like one big family. We're all born in the same wold! doesn't that make us the same family? Why must we kill each other? And why is it right for us to kill the animals but wrong for the animals to kill us? What gives human the rights to decide what's right and what's wrong?
All these I will ponder as soon as I have the time to... Hopefully I can come up with an explaination...

Ystd I went down to SIM to hand in the application fee.
On my way back, i was left in an isolated bus-stop to wait for a bus home by Service 52. It was getting dark and I was getting really scared. Anyway 93 came before it got really dark so it was fine. The next day, which was today, I went back to NY to collect my A-Level cert. As I need to bring down the cert to RELC later in the afternoon, I got the office staff to photocopy a set of it. The staff went to certify it some more... My god.
Since RELC was beside Shangri-La, we went there to have lunch and to celebrate my father's bdae^^
After that, we went down to Renci to visit my grandmother, who was there for physiotherapy. And it was there that I caught some really gorgeous scenery that I never imagined I would see at a nursing home...Here is to here with all you guys out there^^

I'VE GOTTEN MY SIM ACCEPTANCE!!!!!
Haha... no more waiting so happy^^
But I heard from my friend that SIM will be a very lonely place to study in as everybody would have gotten themselves a clique by the time we get in... I'm so scared=( I'm terrified of lonelines...
Anyway, ystd after work me and Cheng Yang went over to the JTC building that was like SUPER huge to hand in the timesheets... Not to mention it was quite a walk for me from the MRT. (Eh, forgive me can? I was wearing two inch heels and those jagged stones on the road weren't much help.)
The Recruit Express was on the 30th floor, and we had to exchange for a pass to get in. Man, you guys should have seen the security guard's face when i handed over my student pass... LOL... he was like stare-at-pass-star-at-face~ing lol...
Anyway, when i got into the lift, I was telling Cheng Yang how I didn't dare to look out of the lift at the bugis library and he was like "YOU HAVE HEIGHTS?!" -_-|||
Thanks a lot ah, Cheng Yang. Thanks a lot man.
But we were only halfway up and my ears were already blocked. My god... Luckily I've never taken a plane before... MWAHAHA... But the lift was okay lah... Quite fast... can't imagine how long it will take for my house that kind of lift to reach 30 floor man...
Mwahaha... What happened next I shan't say much lah... But before I end off, here three cheers to Cheng Yang MEGA-WATT-ESCALATOR-STOPPING smile!

Have you guys ever tried saying something then regretted that you said it?
Well,
I did.
And it costed me a friendship.
And if it ever happened to you, the little naggy feeling tugging at your heart is really frusrating.
From this incident, it suddenly dawned to me that I am no longer in the protected sphere of school-life where these arguments will just blow over in a few days, nor is it just a "I dun want to friend you anymore" kind of primary school arguments It seems like the older one get, the more serious these kind of arguments get.
It suddenly dawned on me that from now on, I should learn to hold my tongue and keep those harmless little jokes to myself or to minimum. Some of it will help to boost a friendship, but too much of it will destroy the very same thing.
Maybe these types of harmless little jokes will only be forgotten easily when you had known the person like forever, and when you just know the person like for a few months, hold your bloody tongue or it will compile.
Gone are the days when you can just suan each other and it will be laughed off and forgotten. Because for some people, these harmless little comments means the whole world. It will light up the fuse of the bomb that will eventually blow the friendship to bits and pieces and you will never be able to piece it together again.

Why was i stupid enough to ever hope that he would like me the tiniest whiniest bit? I should have known that he couldn't have, wouldn't have, most likely will never ever even look at me for one more sec. Apparently i thought he did, and i was silly enough to believe what I thought I saw.
Well... He's just his name suggest the wild and boundless body of fluid and i'm just dull as a piece of ragged cloth. Wow.
From now on, i'll be a cat. Or at least i will try to be a cat. Apparently they learnt a long time ago not to be the first party to show affection as when the affection comes to an end, it will be the first party who will be more hurt. Why bother adding more hurt to my already full heart?
Don't ever believe in the incredible "good" luck that life may ever give you.It is to lure you further so the fall down will hurt more.

As an extra note, I love him even more when Alan Rickman was depicting him...
He's really a great actor as he manage to portray Snape as some more even more interesting in the movie.
His scene though short, are always captivating...
Alan Rickman has a charm when depicting Severus Snape that makes it almost impossible to move your eyes away when he comes onto the screen...
His every movement gives out elegance, true to his name as the Half Blood Prince...
Alan Rickman did a great job with all the expression...
Even a cold expression that Snape always wears on his face, there's a lot of emotions going on in his black eyes...
His voice is eerily soothing...

Corpse Bride
Wonderful storyline, nice clash of colours and out of the world imagination put to work.
I love the songs, I love the bride (I believe she was named Emily), the groom Victor, the spiders in the underworld and the maggot in Emily's eyes.
The songs are catchy and meaningful, just like the Omppa Lumpas' songs in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The way how Victor went from being afraid of Emily to falling in love. The way he went from wanting to escape from the Land Below back to the Land of the Living, to how he could bear to leave.
The way the spiders put life across in the song "Tears to Shed" when Emily was heart-broken that Victor had lied to her. "Everybody knows that's just a temporary state, which is cured very quickly when we met our fate!" the spider sung when Emily said that she couldn't compare to Victoria who "still breathes there".
I especially loved that part where Emily sacrificed herself so that the man that she loves, Victor, could be with a girl "worthy" of him, Victoria.
There's only two things I didn't like in the movie
Victoria, and the fact that Emily turned into hundred of butterflies after she sacrificed herself for Victor...
Eww... I almost screamed out in fear when the hundred of butterflies appeared on the movie screen, looking all too ready to pop out of the screen all thanks to 3D technology...
Hotel Rwanda
This is a movie based on the true account of one of the most horrifically ugly events in recent history, when the Hutu extremists of Rwanda initiated a terrifying campaign of genocide, massacring hundreds of thousands of minority Tutsis (who had been given power by the departed Belgian colonists), while the rest of the world looked on and did nothing.
The truth factor was what make this movie really attractive for me. The touching effect of the idea that the main character Paul was able to display such courage in the face of adversity just multiply with the fact that this was an true account of a great man whose couragous acts saved many others.
When the European guests and staff were all flown away from Rwanda, all that were left was just Paul Rusesabagina and a couple of the local staff.
Not only was he able to think fast on his feet to think of ways to save all the lives that lies in the very hotel that he lives in, he did not give up hope when people whom he trusted to help them disappointed him time and again. The local police that Paul always worked with no longer wants to be involved in helping to save the many refugees that the hotel was putting up. The rebels threatened to enter the hotel at any minute, everyone was scared out of their wits.
The UN did nothing to help but just took care of their own Euporean brothers and sisters, leaving behind the helpless refugees in a dangerous situation. With the backing of the United Nations gone, Paul and his many refugees found themselves to be danger constantly. Paul was only left with a mind and no military backing to work with. In the movie, he made used of human sympathy to try to get people in helping them. He requested individuals in the hotel whom had contacts with influential westerners to call them up.
As quoted from his lines, "Call them up, say your goodbyes to them. And when you say goodbye to them, make sure that you make it sounds like you are reaching out through the phones to hold their hands. Make them feel that if they let go of that hand, we will die. We will SHAME them into helping us." The tatic worked and soon, help arrived from the United Nation.
Overall, this is one of the few shows that can get me crying almost through half of the show. And if you had watched this movie before, personally, I feel that the most impact-ful part of the show was when Paul and his staff were driving in a foggy area. The ride suddenly turned very bumpy, and Paul said, "Oh my, you have driven off the road!" HIs companian replied that, "I'm very sure I'm still in the road!" And Paul frantically answered, "Stop the car! You are going to drive us into the river!" But when he got out of the car to investigate, he came to realised that they were indeed still on the road. HOwever, the road was now littered with the bodies of the murdered Tutsis. They were actually driving over the bodies, that was what made the ride very bumpy. The whole impact of the scene was terrific.
